What customers said afterwards
Rated 4.8 out of 5 from 60 customer reviews. The 24 most recent are printed below, including the ones that are less than glowing.
How to read these
Each entry describes one visit: what failed, what was measured, what was changed and how the call ended. They are printed in the words they were given to us, under a first name and a last initial, and the ones that are less than glowing are printed too. A wall of nothing but top marks tells a reader nothing, and a van that has never had a part arrive wrong or a second call go out is a van nobody has ever used.
No entry below quotes a figure. What a visit costs is set out on the charges page, where it can be held against the invoice, and what happens afterwards is on the guarantee page. If a review describes what your own cabinet is doing, the page for that repair explains how the fault is found.
This page prints the 24 most recent. The other 36 are not hidden: each one is filed against the work it describes and the ZIP code it happened in, so it appears on that repair page and that district page, where it is of some use to the person reading about that job. All 60 stand behind the figure beside this paragraph.

The refrigerator side crept into the high forties while the freezer stayed hard. He read the air coming off the evaporator, found a damper flap held open by a bent linkage, and set it right.

Every few days a puddle appeared beneath the crisper drawers. Silt had closed off the drain where it leaves the cabinet; he cleared and flushed it, then showed me what to watch for.
Bram T.2026-09-08
The diagnosis was right and a new seal cured the warm shelf. What I did not get was a call to say the part had slipped, so a Tuesday visit became the following week.
Corinne D.2026-09-01
The cabinet had started cycling almost without a break. He measured what the compressor was drawing, then found the condenser packed solid with dust left behind by a remodel.
Dorian M.2026-08-25
Ours had a warm upper shelf and a freezer coated in snow. He replaced a spent evaporator fan motor and a cracked air duct behind the liner, then read both compartments before leaving.
Elspeth N.2026-08-18
The ice maker had stopped filling altogether. He traced it to a saddle valve on the supply that had closed itself part way, fitted a proper stop instead, and the bin filled overnight.
Fenton B.2026-08-11
Our built in would not hold below fifty and the freezer frosted over. He traced it to a defrost control that had stopped advancing, fitted a new one, and stayed for a complete cycle to confirm.
Anders K.2026-08-04
Cubes were welding themselves into one lump in the bin. He found the bin thermostat reading late, changed it, and stayed to watch two full harvests before he packed up.
Giselle P.2026-07-28
The cabinet in our beach house had a hum you could hear from the hallway. A cracked fan blade was clipping its shroud. He swapped the blade, checked the balance, and the noise disappeared entirely.
Cecily R.2026-07-21
The machine ran but the cubes came out cloudy and soft. He cleaned the whole water path, replaced a filter head that was choking the flow, and the cubes are clear and firm again.
Hollis W.2026-07-14
Ice kept building up behind the vegetable bins. The culprit was a torn seal on the hinge side letting humid air in all day. New seal fitted, and the bins have stayed dry right through a summer.
Dominic P.2026-07-07
It took two visits and a long wait on a part before our ice maker worked again. The repair has held since, but the quiet stretch between those visits was the hard part.
Imogen S.2026-06-30
Our unit iced up again about two months after the first visit. He returned, found a drain heater that had been left in place the first time, and replaced it. Right answer, but it took two attempts.
Elena B.2026-06-23
Our machine had begun leaking onto the floor overnight. He found the drain pan cracked where it had been knocked during a cabinet fitting, replaced it and resealed the line into the wall.
Jarrod K.2026-06-16
The freezer drawer would not shut properly and the compartment sat at fifteen. He found a bent basket rail distorting the closure, straightened it, then rechecked the seal the whole way round.
Fergus M.2026-06-09
The harvest would stall halfway and the machine would simply sit there. He replaced a water level sensor that had scaled over, cleaned out the mould, and it has cycled properly since.
Kenton A.2026-06-02
Our ice machine had gone quiet and the bin was empty. He found the inlet solenoid clogged with grit from a line disturbed during plumbing work, cleaned it out and fitted a strainer ahead of it.
Greta S.2026-05-26
Our freezer column stopped holding temperature after the panel doors went back on. The door was closing out of alignment so the seal never met the frame, and he reset the hinges.
Lachlan V.2026-05-19
Cubes were coming out small and hollow in the middle. He checked the fill volume, adjusted the timing and replaced a thermistor that was reading a couple of degrees off. Full cubes ever since.
Hamish D.2026-05-12
The column is cold and quiet again after a new fan and a test of the board outputs. Careful work, though I had to ask twice before the written estimate actually reached me.
Marisol E.2026-05-05
The machine kept shutting down on a fault code every few days. It turned out the drain ran uphill from a poor install, so it never emptied. He repiped that section and it has been steady since.
Iris W.2026-04-28
Frost was forming along the top of the refrigerator column and nowhere else. He found the defrost sensor loose in its clip, reading the air instead of the coil, and secured it.
Niall H.2026-04-21
There was a smell in the bin that nobody could get rid of. He stripped the water path, replaced a reservoir gasket that had gone spongy and cleaned the whole circuit. The ice tastes right again.
Julian T.2026-04-14
Our two columns were fighting each other, one freezing the lettuce and the other barely cool. He calibrated both controls, replaced a sensor, and left a written note of every reading.
